r 4 Nevada City-Grass Valley Nugget, May 18, 1948 5 ~ Just Wonderin’ ° ] Wonder now from whence we came,_ A million years and more ago, Where did we humans make a start? : Ed really like to know. ; Oh well, its not important now, While all the winds of fate are blowing, ‘The question of the hour, it seems, is Holy smoke, where are we going? “"What is anthropology?” asked the M. C. of a quiz program, to which the quizzee, after a sputter. . ing moment of dense thought, replied, “why, its the » study of monkeys.”’ It was the M. About the only thing he can do, is to keep his own little craft ship-shape and adjust himself as best (Please turn to Page 6) NEVADA COUNTY LUMBER COMPANY BUILDING MATERIALS : “THE PIONEER LUMBER YARD” : 244 Boulder Street Telephone 500 Nevada City, Calif.
