E. T. Bradbury, mining man,

Gen. W. S. Schuyler of Carmel,
who is interested in the Alaska mine,

LARGE CONSTRUCTION
PROGRAM FOR PACIFIC
The Pacific Gas and Electric Comsuffering
pany is now engaged in what is
said to be the’ largest active é¢onstrucfion program in California.
The activties, according to H. M.
Coper, Division Manager, far exceed
any previous program in the Counpany’s history. The activities now
are even greater than the work ecarried on during the time the big Pit
River Hydro-electric Development
was at its height. Mr. Coper says
that the Company is now running a
full quota of men on eight-different
projects. ess :
The Salt Springs Dam on the up
per reuches of the Mokelumne iz

ment to 600 men and is a part of
the $40,000,000 water and powe:
development on _ the Mokelumne,
seheduled ta be completed in 1932.
Where Tiger. Creek empties into
the Mokelumne, a cosntruction camp

On the: Bear River in Placer county, a crew of 300 men are engaged

rushing to completion the San Joaquin Valley natural gas transmission
line and the’ branch feeder lines
which will make natural gas available for the cities and towns in the
Sacramento Valley
bay territory, including the lower
end of the Redwood Empire.
At a cost of approximately $660,00.00, the gas appliances in San
Francisco and Oakiaud are being
adjusted for the efficient use of naPuryposes
