' ! . ‘ ato TWO NOTICE OF ELECTION NOTICE OF THE TIME AND PLACE OF HOLDING A SPECIAL ELECTION, A PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY ELECTION, LIST OF OFFICES FOR WHICH CANDIDATES ARE TO BE ELECTED, THE NAMES AND ADDRESSES OF ALL CANDIDATES TO BE VOTED FOR, LIST OF ALL ELECTION PRECINCTS AND THEIR POLLING PLACES, AND THE NAMES OF THE ELECTION OFFICERS WHO ARE TO SERVE AS SUCH IN THEIR RESPECTIVE PRECINCTS. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Eleation and a PresiPrimary. Election will be held throughout _the State of California. TUESDAY, the 83RD DAY OF MAY, 19382, and at said Special and Primary Election the following measures and candidates for the following offices will be voted on. At the Special Election Referendum measures. ‘‘Oil Control” marked the Ballot No. 1, “Preventing Leasing of State-owned tide or beach ijands for mineral and oil production’’ marked on the Ballot No. 2. At the Presidential Primary Election. 48 Delegates to the Democratic National Convention. 47 Delegates to the Prohibition Nationa] Convention. 47 Delegates to the Republican National Convention. “And I further certify that the following list, having been certified to me by Frank C. Jordan, Secretary of State, contains the names and postoffice address of each person for whom nomination papers have been filed in the Office of the Secretary of State, and who is entitled to be voted for in Nevada County, at said Presidential Primary Election, as delegate to the next National Convention of that party under which his name hereinafter appears; I further certify that in said list under the name of each party, and under the name of the person for whom a preference as nominee of such party for president has been expressed, there is stated tthe name of each of those candidates for delegate who has filed a statement of preference for such person and who has been endorsed as such candidate as required by law, and who may be voted for as one of a group, '. and also the name of each candidate for delegate who has filed a stateby. set ‘ in i t CONIA RWNWH » Carroll L Stewart . . That at said Special election, in all precincts having only four election officers appointed, the board of election so appointed shall be the legally appointed election officers for the Special Election and that in Precincts having six election officers appointed, the Inspector, the first Judge named and the first two Clerks named shall be the legally designated officers for said special election. Department of Natural Resources State of California ORDER OPENING TROUT STREAMS Me. ener a ate. ——— ees, P ee For the purpose of further protecting trout with which the Fish and Game Commission has stocked the various waters of this state, of insuring their growth and better means of providing an adequate supply of trout eggs for the various fish hatcheries of this state to the end of improving fishing conditions generally throughout the state, and upon the recommendation of the Fish and Game commission of the State of California and pursuant to and by virtue of the authority vested in me by the provisions of Chapter 751, 1927 Statutes of California, the following waters within the Counties of Placer, Nevada and Sierra, State of California, were closed to trout fishing or the taking, killing or having of any trout therein .or therefrom during all times and seasons during the year 1931. ‘All that portion of the Truckee River from its source at the outlet gates of the U.
