TENNIS COURT
The tennis court, which is nearing
completion, is standard -in size. The
interior dimensions are such that the
court can qualify for championship
games. The surface of the playing
court, which is concrete, will be
encircled with grass sod.
The court is to be dedicated as a
memorial to these classes which
have left sums on deposit in the
bank. The classes of 1917-1918-1921
-1925-1928-1929 are to be honored.

On Wednesday, May 16, the class
of ’29 isto give its senior farce at
the Nevada Theatre. The play is to
be “Applesauce” and was written by
Mr. Conners wrote
it at Edward’s Bridge near Nevada
City. He was known by many Nevada City people.
The farce is developing rapidly.
The cast is rehearsing constantly;
in fact, this reporter has tried in
vain for several weeks to get a conversation with a certain member of
the cast. All that has been seen of
her is a dark figure slinking quietly

Sheriff George R. Carter was an
official visitors at Spadra, Los Angeles county during the week.
Mrs. W. S. Coughlan left Wednesday for San Francisco where she
will visit for several weeks with her
daughter, Mrs. C. King.
Mrs. E. M. Austin, county superintendent of schools, and Miss Marjorie White, county health nurse,
visited the public schools of }'rench
