SAN FRANCISCO, April 4.—Reproducing the murals of an ancient
civilization in the State of California, Lala Eve Rivol of the Federal
Art Project has been assigned to the
completion of an extensive portfolio
of petroglyphs; pictographs, paintings and drawings executed by the:
primitive, migratory inhabitants of
the state, according to an annotincement today by Joseph A. Danysh,

CAMPTONVIELLE, April 2—The
Missouri boys of the local CCC camp

Roy Beedle has completed the installation of the local Forest Service water works, and the water was
turned on Wednesday and the local
government plant is now supplied
by their own water works. The installation work included the laying
of two miles and over new pipe line,

building in a bulkhead at the Jerret
Spring, the source of the-water.-The

for the examinations is April 28, according to a bulletin issued by William Browning, xecutive officer of
the state pehsonnel board. Examinations will be held in San Francisco,
Los Angeles and Sacramento.
Qualifications -set up by the personnel board indicate that the State
is planning on building up a patrol

23 and 24, T. 18 N., R 11 E., and
Sections 26 and 34, T. 19 N., R. 11
E., M. D. M., Tahoe National Forest,
California, estimated to be 20,000,000 feet B. M., more or less, of sugar pine and ponderosa pines, red,
white and Douglas firs and incense
