FOLLIES COMING
TO LOCAL Stik
Ziegfeld Follies, coming to the
Nevada Theatre Sunday, Monday and
Tuesday evenings, is a magnificent
gcreen: spectacle without a story just
as the original was and is in the big
theatre New York.
The nearest to a connecting thread
among the many stupendous shows
rolled into one great show, is William Powell reviewing in’ heaven his
long, unparalelled success, recalling
them one by one from the flaming
limbo of the past.
One feature is Lucille Ball serving
as a ballet master, another stars
Esther Williams and Kenneth Wynn
doing a telephone skit in a water
ballet, and in a third, James Melton
and Marion Bell sing a duet from La
Traviata. Fred Astaire and Lucille
Bremer appear in two numbers.
