FRESNO, Aug. 17—(UP)—Confident that prohibition will be repealed by the end of the year, California’s famous wineries 'were prepared today to crush and ferment grapes almost on the scale they did before prohibition. Vinters, whose product was worlafamous a few years ago, sensed in the trend against prohibition a good market for the 1933 vintage, according to Harry A. Caddow, secretary of the Grape Growers’ League ‘of California and a leader in the congressional fight for legal wine.
