The Truckee Republican of Wed. nesday says: An endeavor is being i i made to get up a photographie exhi{ , bition of the industries of this portion . = of the county and the-co-operation of all interested is urgently requested. The Truckee Lumber Co., Pacific Lumber and Wood Co., and George Schaffer have given photographs of their mills, yards, logging scenes,etc., and it is hoped that all the other mill -.4men will do likewise. H. K. Gage will add to the exhibition all his views of places of interest: There will probably be additional views taken of the Truckee river, the ice houses, etc. The Boca Brewing Company will probably make ‘an extensive exhibit of their product. By ths means visitors at the State Fair can see what kind of a country we have up here in the mountains. Any one having pictures . are requested to hand them either to Mr. Lewison or the editor of this paper.
