The young lady is a recent graduate of University of Galifornia and has secured @ position in the Modesto high schools. Waliace Williams is able to he around on crutches. He injured his knee severely when it struck a revolving belt -at a Placer county quartz mill. Miss Gertrude Jones is home from a several week's visit with relatives in Santa Cruz. Mesdemes Louise and Neva Pianezzi had as visitors recently, and Mrs. J. Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Ry Pianezzi, Mr. and Mrs. William Tippet, Joe Berette and Carl Murphy, aH of Sacrmento. Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Ronchi motor ed up fom Folsom last Sunday for a visit with Mrs. A. W. Hoge. Mr. Ronchi returned while his wife remained for a longer stay.
