Mrs. Meer fell and sustained a fracture of ‘her right hip. Administration Program has passed the $147,000,000 mark, according to a special report made ttoday to A. D. Wilder, tate Public Works Administration Director fore California. The government's. contribution to this estimated cost of 479 projects is $70,595,601, including both, loans -and grants. According to the report, the above listed projects show a total of 418 projects of these various types. The balanee of sixty one is made up of various phases of ‘transportation, such as harbor improvements, piers and warehouses, bridges, tunnels and street improvements. The total estimated cost of these 61 projects is approximately $26,300,000, of which the government’s share reaches the sum of $11,000,000. In Los Angeles county, street and harbor improvements alone which are completed or. nearing completion, will cost the districts a total of $5,000,000, partially fnanced ‘by Federal Public Works Administration grants of over $3,000,000.
