On December 13, they challenge Christian Brothrs of Sacramento in their first out of town practice game of the season. The opening of the basketbiall league will be on January 10 at which time or shortly after, the town people will be able to witness these boys in action, If you see any faculty men running about school with bottles of. liniment you will know that they have just played the Rotary or the Grass Valley faculty in one of their night basketball games. Truthfully speaking they -are in fine cordition and with a little moro practices they might surprise everybody. Those playing are Edward Frantz, Warren Imimel, George Albbott, Albert Wood, Marvin Lueck and Lewis and Getstof the elamenttry school. AROUND SCHOOL The new and novel Rovket pens are on sale to high school students for the benefit of student body funds. These pens which come in school colors with the schcol name printed in gold are supposed to write for 15 years without refilling are selling for $3.85 in the office. The sophomore girls just havent what it takes to lick the junior “Gold” basketball team. The fact is that they let the juniors defeat them 12-10. 7 student body.
