Given Farewell Party
The group of Tahoe Forest Service officials wives gave Mrs. Wiiliam Gracey a farewell party Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs.
Leland Smith. Bridge was the diversion of the afternoon, with prizes being awarded. A dainty luncheon was. served at a prettily appointed tabl. The color schme was
green and gold. Mrs. Gracey -was
presented with a. leather bag as a
gift from her friends.

Priscilla Circle, of the Ladies’ Aid
Society, entertained in the Methodist church parlors Wednesday at
a most delightful Christmas party
and tree. Mrs. Moody opened the
meeting and Mrs. A. A. Price had
charge of the program, She gave a
short reading from: the Bible on the
birth and early life of Christ. Mrs.
Towle delighted the audience with a
reading. Gifts were distributed to

COMPLETES 1934 WORK
At the business meeting of the
Womanh’s Civic Club on: Monday
evening routine work was accomplished and plans for the Christmas
tree completed. The tree will be
decorated and lighted by. tomorrow
night. The program and gift giving by the school children will take
place Tuesday afternoon 2:30
o’clock. Miss Getrude Goyne will
plan the program and supervise the
“sift giving’? by the children. The
Native Daughters will present bags
of candy to the school children.
The club voted $25 for the Firemen’s ball fund.

Pleasant Card Party
The card party given Wednesday
evening by the Cedar Crest Grove,
was a most enjoyable affair. The
door prize was aon by Mrs. Adele
Brownin. Bridge prizes went to
Mrs. Stevenson,’ Mrs. E. J. Baker,
Mrs. J. P. Widauf. Winners in whist
were Mrs. Minnie Young, Mrs. Nance
Shattuck, Mrs. Annie Godfrey, Mr.
Ross and Mr. Richard Tremaine
Gold Flat Club
The Gold Flat club met at the
home of Mrs. C. Walker last Thurs}
day and several hours were spent!
