Lake Tahoe is a hearing set for 10
o’clock a. m. Tuesday, January 4,
1938, at the county courthouse in
the city of Auburn in connection
with the proposed formation of the
Tahoe-Placer county fire district, according to informatino received from
DeWitt Nelson ,forest supervisor at
Nevada City N.elson states that the
required number of signatures have
been secured to a petition to place
ithe matter before the county supervisors, and the hearing is for the
purpose of determining whether or
not a special election shall be held.
He urges that all property: owners
‘be present that can possibly do so
whether in favor of the proposed
district or opposed to it, so that the
