Word has reached this city of the
death of Josiah Gilasson of Kellos,
Idaho who passed away in that city
on November’ 28.
Deceased was a former resident
of North Bloomfield aged 71 years
at the time of his.passing. He was
well known in Nevada county and
well and kindly remembered by his
many friends here.

toward speeding start of actual construction on the Central Vaheys
Water Project are being made by
the board of* consulting appraisers
now in session.
The board, working out of Sacramento, is visiting Friant and Conera Costa divisions of the project
where negotiations are under way to
settle progerty and water tights,
