WITH MAIL SACK CAMPTONVILLE, Dec. 3.—A pet dog in Indian Valley did not realize how near he came to being in the coils of the sheriffs office, the post office inspector and perhaps even the G-men. A short time ago the mail sack from the Indian Valley ¥ Sroye Bence? Service Station, which is hung from eso a pole for the early morning stage, was missing. Believing it--to have been stolen, the matter was reported to the sheriff, who in turn reported it to the postal authorities. A second sack was used and the succeeding morning it was missing. Later that day a dog was noticed playing with something which ‘happened to be the second mail sack, a search in the vicinity discovered the first sack with the mail still in it. The officers were called off and the dog scolded, and now the mail goes anu comes as usual.
