Fire in the Woods.
Tidings: —-On Saturday las
some parties hunting in the vicinity of Jos. Rienhart’s place dropped a lighted cigarette in the grass
and thé consequence was a big
fire in the woods. The fire burned
fiercely for about 48 hours, destroying a lot of timber, dry feed
and brush fence. The neighbors
turned outand fought the flames
all day and night, thereby saving
their property around the dwellings.
