services were held on Thursday afternoon and ‘were largely attended

,Deceased was born in England in
1868 and came to Nevada City ‘when
but a year and a half of age and
had resided here ever since. He conducted the © Maltman reduction
works for some years, disposing of
the same later to Benj. Hall. He was
a member of the Elks and the Odd
Yellows. He is survivied by. his mother and his wife and a son, Joseph
ef Roseville, and a sister, Mrs. Al
Huson.
