Brain Food.
A man with a two-horse wagon
has recently been making trips to
this c ty for the purpose of supply‘ing our citizens with Trugkee trout,
of which succulent brain-food he
brings a big supply at each coming. He sells them all the way
from ten cents a pound for the fag
end of the lot, up to sixteen cents
which is the price for the freshest
and best. He says they ure cauyht
with hooks, but ‘here are some
parties whose experience in anling has perhaps been such as to
render them incredulous and they
seem to suspect eitter nets or
giant powder were used in their
capture. An_ inquisitive citizen

and atonce pronounced it burnt

of the specks in hia mouth. “It’s

holiday goods made by the enterprising dealers of this city none
will surpassin attractiveness that
which will in a few days be
exhibited at the store of Walter

Broad streets. The assortment
will embrace a multitudinous line
of beautiful and useful articles,
‘including a vast variety of odor

and in fine an endiess variety of
things which will be suited to all
purses and tastes. In the matter
