The Roxbury Hydraulic Mines
Inec., on Scott’s River are preparing
to take 1500 cubie feet of water
per second from the Scott river for
hydraulicking. They expect. to
spend $300,000. in preparation work
They . plan to erect an eight foot
timber crib dam 98 feet long and 23
miles of flume, ditches and syphons
C. E. Waite is engineer of the company.-It is expected 50 men will be
employed when work is fully under
Officials of the Roxbury mine
plan improvements to the ixtent of
a quarter of a miiffer— on their
hydraulic -holdings west of Scott
Bar at the confluence of the Scott
and Klamath rivers. Work is expected io commence early in 1929.
