In the Alleghany district considerable development work was proseciited. The 16 tol Company sank the
Tightener shaft 500 feet deeper and
has’ kept steady production throughout the year.
The transfer of the Yellow Jacket
holding by the Alleghany El' Dorado
interests marked ¢he largest transfer
of mining property since the sale of
the Tightner.
A complete mill and cyanide
equipment has been assembled at the
El Dorado property and with a new
electric hoist early production at
this famous property (is a certainty.
The biuldings at the Wonder Mine
were burned early in the summer
but have been replaced.
