Muscardini, Mrs. Larson Henwood and two children and Mr. Elisha Curtis spent Sunday fishing on lakes and streams near Grouse Ridge lookout above Washington. They caught some nice fish, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The lookout on Grouse Ridge is 7,800 feet elevation and Mr. Will Carey, in charge of the station told them: he had reported a fire on Mt. Diablo at the bay, since going to camp June 20. The mountain can be seen plainly on clear days. About 100 persons have visited Grouse Ridge lookout so far this season. C. E.
