Funeral services will be held at
2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the
;Hooper-Weaver Mortuary in Grass

Valley for John Sweet, 82, for 58
years postmaster at Wolf, Nevada
County, who died Tuesday.
The deceased was a_ native
Cornwall. He camé to the United
States 73 yeas ago. He leaves a brother, Harry Sweet of Wolf and a
foster daughter, ‘Mrs. Irene LeDue

Chesebro of the Tahoe National Forest today announced
Robson of Nevada. City has joined the
forest staff as an assistant to the
warehouseman. Robson, who is well
known in the county, will be employed in the Nevada City wagrehouse. Robson will also assist in all
cargo and ‘parachute wrapping should
airplanes ‘be used for the delivery
of supplies. to isolated aeras in lieu
lof pack mules.

Funeral rites ‘were conducted in
Oakland today for Frank Haney, former forest service employee here.
Haney died after he was stricken
while at work Tuesday in the regional office of the United States Forest
Service in San Francisco.
