Carl Cramer who has just received his medical discharge from the
U. 8S. Navy spent Thursday night in

with his sister and father to look
after their property interests there.
Carl was wounded when United States forces landed at Salerno, Italy,

He was also in the North African
war zone. Carl was born and reared
in Washington where his father conducted a store many years. The father, sister and Carl came over from
Oroville, Thursday. The sister is employed as a clerk in the court house

room on Wednesday. Lt. Col. Celio
is pictured standing near Mrs. Betty

serving with the U. S. Medical Corps
at Fort Bragg. The picture was taken ata Red Cross Club in England.

Fleas are an old story to most
Californians, many of whom have
acquired an immunity to them, but
residents of the intermoutain country, making the acqauintance of the
varmints for the first time, are baffled by them.
The health$department leaflet obligingly lists remedies and solitions
calculated to control fleas, on man,
beast and around the home.
