We hope it will be a social and financial success. Mr. and Mrs. S. Wood and little son, Carl, were Friday visitors. W. P. Clerkin returned from Pike where he has been’ attending his cattle. ” Miss Louise Moulton made a trip to Sacramento. She was accompanied by Miss Millie Clerkin, and Miss Barbara and Richard McMinn. Her sister, Miss Frances, returned with her, to spend the week’s’ end at home, and be in attendance for the dinner given in celebration of Mr. ind Mrs. Moulton’'s birthday on Sunday. On this occasion Mr. and Mrs. Moulton were the recipients’ of some beautiful presents. Miss Frances Moulton returned to Sacramento Sunday evening, where her parents and sister acconipanied her. ; ; A. H. Behrens of Camptonville recorder at the lookout station of the -U. S. Forest Reserve, was a visitor at the home of-Mr. and Mrs. De Prati. Mr. Behrens is much interested in .earing of the recent cupper tind in this piace. Ciyde and Harry Browning had business. in Nevada City Saturday Joe Swazey and Frank Wood of Sweetland made a business trip to San Juan Saturday. They have gone into the butter business tem porarily.
