For many years father took a back seat; it was mother
who occupied the pedestal and received the almost worshipful homage of her young sons and daughters. Father was conindeed in most American homes

a king? oh, there wasn’t-any king, father was just father.

be driven into Nevada City Tuescourt house. It is good news to his
many friends that he has recovered
so as to be able to be up and around

(Miss Helen Arbogast, daughter of
Supervisor and Mrs. Cary S. Arbogast, who graduated from College of
the Pacific this week, has secured a
position as teacher in the Meridian
