PLEATS VS. GODETS
Although godets and pleats both have their partisans in the smart world,
we have a sneaking idea that both of them give chic fulness. It’s so much
more amusing to have both in your wardrobe! Each of these designs may
be made up in a wash silk, and we suggest you make no choice between
them. f
The sleeveless bolero gives the first frock the appearance of an ensemble.
The frock has an applied bosom front in square outline, and godets both
at front and back. The next frock is quite simply tailored, with box-pleats
all around the ‘skirt, and a turn-back collar and shart sleeves
