Davis Sara : SUBCRIPTION RATES One Year, any address in California, in advance Outside California, in United States One Month JUDGE TUTTLE . (Editor’s Note: The following editorial is taken from the ‘Truckee Republican and expresses the sentiments to be found in the eastern section of the county.) Judge Raglan Tuttle’s term of office as judge of the su-. perior court of Nevada county expires this fall, and he has announced that he will be a candidate for reelection. Judge Tuttle has not only established a reputation for being exceedingly fair and just, but he has demonstrated his _ judicial knowledge and capacity time and time again. His qualifications of perceptiveness and discernment and ability have brought forth such a reputation of eminence, that he was elected president of the State Judges’ Association, an ’ organization composed of all the judges in California, and he is frequently called upon to assist the appellate courts of the state. To receive such recognition, is, indeed, not only a ____ glowing compliment to Judge Tuttle: but a distinct honor to ~~ Nevada county for having a judge of such judicial standing. The fact that Judge Tuttle has served this county with such a high degree of efficiency and distinguished ability, and has brought honor to Nevada county, is sufficient evidence in itself that the citizens of this county should not only show a high spirit of loyalty, but they should consider it a privilege and a pleasure to re-elect Judge Tuttle for another term at the fall election. For if we as citizens, fail to acknowledge and '. support a judge who has achieved such a distinguished record for fairness and judicial ability, pray what incentive can a public servant have to throw his whole heart and soul into his work? itl Gold Nugget MN ld ieee: .
