with world and domestic problems surging down upon
us
from“every direction, we feel-a-strong desire to help in the
great tasks of adjustment an to lend a hand, or speak words
which will encourage the workers and inspire them to greater
and more constructive efforts.
Perhaps we see some particular field wherein we greatly
desire to take part in fabricating that “‘one world’ envisigned
by those who know that we must have one world or universal
chaos, but there seems to be no place for us, no call for our
special talents. Then it is that we realize our limitations and.
are irked by restrictions placed upon us.
Let us be not too greatly discouraged; if we cannot perform the herculean tasks, let us remember that we can take
ever some smaller labor.and with enterprise and presistence,
carry it through to a desirable conclusion.
It is good for any one to know himself! to recognize his
own abilities and to realize his own limitations;

FOR LIFE
CALIFORNIA DAIRY INDUSTRY ADVISORY BOARD
OW CAN I FEED MY FAMILY PROPERLY
and still keep within my budget?” is they
biggest question facing most housewives..not ~
the time!
One simple, basic answer to that questionis,“Use more dairy foods.”
Dairy foods supply the minerals, vitamins,
proteins and carbohydrates in the well-balanced
proportions you need for health, growth and vigor.
They are the richest food source of calcium, needed
for strong bones, beautiful teeth, clear complexions.
From the standpoint of nutritional values, dairy
products are your most economical foods. At twice
the price, they would still be your best “food buys.”
