SCHOOL SLOW, SIGNS
There is no reason why the motorist should be confused by the word
slow, in the signs exhorting him ‘to
caution in the vicinity, of school and
playgronds. It does not mean’ any
specific speed in many instances; but
rather that the car should be. kept
under such control that it can be
stopped in the assured clear distance
ahead. There never will be any accidents so long as this rule is fol-.
fowed by the driver.
