BERKELEY, June June 25.—Twentyiversity of California will be awarded in 13 districts of California this
summer by the California Alumni
Association, it was announced in
' Berkeley today.
Mrs. B. A. Swartz, of Clarksburg,
has been appointed chairman of the
district which includes: Yolo, Colusa,
Sutter, Yuba, Nevada, Sacramento,
Placer and El Dorado counties.
The responsibility of awarding the
two scholarships allocated in this
district rests solely with the local
scholarship chairman subject to the
approval of the central office of the
California Alumni Association and
of the University Faculty Committee of Scholarships.
The approximate cash value of each
sgholarship is $180.00. One of them
is for a portion of the boarg and

the Berkeley campus of the Univers,
