Approximately 200,000 tons of ore have heen genes out in Big Jamison, assaying about $16 a ton. The high grades run up to $300. The old floor in the stamp mill is being torn down to make room for new machinery. The mill is being re-designed to handle 150 tons of ore per day. A crew of 30 to 35 men will be employed to handle this production. Shafer of Jamestown Since recently taking over the property, their force of miners has cleaned out and retimbered a 1,500 bedrock tunnel and a 38-foot raise, as well as installing a two-drill air compressor and -other necessary equipment.
