Not all foods come out of the process in powdered form, however. The tomato looks something like a rose petal; peas become green paste; and lemons are made into yellow crystals that Dehydrated meats are entirely new and were but a research possibility a few months ago. Local mail carriers also sell the stamps. The sale of this stamp will be continued through July, Payment of this use tax permits driving motor vehicles on the high‘ways for another twelve months. BIDS WANTED ON MOVING OF POSTOFFICE EQUIPMENT ‘The Nevada City Postoffice is advertising for bids for the removal of the postoffice equipment from the present site to the new postoffice . building on Commercial Street. ALLEGHANY STAGE SCHEDULE CHANGES Postmaster Betty Martin West announced today the Alleghany stage, after July 1st, will leave Nevada City at 9 a. m. and must return to \Nevad City by 5 p. m. The stage formerly departed from this city at 12:40 p. m.
