Reverend Buekner came up Sunday afternoon and held services in

“Grandma’’ Danahke_ celebrated
her 91st birthday on Sunday and
was given a surprise reception after
the church services in the afternoon
by the members of the ccngregation
who called with their good wishes.
,. ] Songs were sung and a prayer was
offered: -by Rev. Telfer. Hot chocolate, ice cream. and a delicious birthday cake made by Miss Annie
Weinnan, who is noted _ for her
culinary achievements.
“Grandma” has» been blind for
many years, but her loss of sight
has not dulled -her inner vision of
life and she enjoys ‘‘folks’’. Sunday
was a very happy oecasion for her.

of Reno, Nevada went thru here last
Monday enroute to, their home after spending several days with Mr.

Bloomfield.
Milton Fowler of Sacramento aecompanied by a_ friend came up
