GEMS OF THOUGHT
THOUGHT
The key to every man is his .
thought. Sturdy and defying though
he look, he has a helm’ which he
obeys, which is the idea after which .
all his facts are classified.—Emerson'
It is thought, and thought alone,
that divides right from wrong; it is
thought and thought only, that elevates or degrades human deeds and
desires.—GeorgeMoore.
By purifying human thought, this
state of mind permeates with increased harmony all the minutiae of hunian affairs.—Mary \Baker Eddy.
If, instead of a gem or even a;
flower, we could cast the gift of a
lovely thought into the heart of aj
friend, that would be giving as’ pn
_ angels ‘give.—George Macdonald.
At Learning’s fountain it is sweet
to drink,
But. ’tis a nobler privilege to think.
—John Godfrey Saxe.
As he thinketh in his heart, so is
he.—Old Testament: Proverbs 23:7.
