Judge Raglan Tuttle called attention to the importance of the bills! now before the legislature relating to county roads. One bill backed by Governor Merriam and the _ State Board of Public Works calls for the surrender of all county roads to the state highway department. Judge Tuttle referred to some of the ob. Odegaard, who resigns his position as manager of the Diamond Match Co. at Marysjville on April 1, will succeed Conlumber company. Mr. Odegaard has purchased an. interest in the _ business. : Odegaard has resided in Marysville with his family for the past 14 . years, and was formerly connected Diamond Match Company purchased the Shasta commanager. He took an active part ‘in all community activities of Marysville and for some time has been president of the Merchants association of that city. Mrs. Odegaard has also been prominent in relief and lodge work there. The family will not remove to Nevada City until the end of the school term. but Odegaard. will take charge here on April 1.
