When Crane was ready to return Wade refused to come to Ne i vada City. : : A story reached this city, last week that Wade had sold a mine claim at. Placerville and when he reached Sacramento in a car, he stepped out and was either knocked unconscious or killed by a_ passing truck: It is now stated that it was another Wade that was injured in an auto accident.
