MOULTON GRAVEL MINE
W. E. Moulton of French Corral
is operating his property, the Moulton Gravel mine, by the ground sluici
ing method. Four men are employed.
Water is brought down from the high
mountain by ditch. The flume that
went out above Columbia Hill-on
the ditch has been repaired.
GRACEY MINE
L. W. Cheney, operating the Gracey-Glencoe mine, reports the opening
up of a four foot ledge on the 400
foot level. He has a force of six men
employed. This ledge on the surface
was between five and. six inches in
men. The old property worked years
ago holds every promise of becoming a paying property under the supervision of the Newmont interest.

at the Murchie mine east of Nevada
City and will reopen the newly acquired property, with a crew of 11
