SCHOLASTIC LUNCHEON
The C. S. F. held a luncheon for
. its members Thursday at noon, with
the Honor Society as gues's. The
luncheon was enjoyed very much.
(Miss McKnight was the guest speakjer. (Miss Rector is the society advisor and under her the club has
been more active than in many previous years. The club plans a trip to
Tahoe some time in the near future
and they hope to have the-Grass Valley C. S. F. as guests on the trip.
QUILL SOON OUT
Orders for the Nevada City high
school annual began to come in Wed-}
nesday. The Quill is a very attractive
book containing many features such
as classes, clubs, school ° activities,
sports, and humor. The book is full
of many pictures of the high school.
student body. Its theme is “The Old
and the New’’ and many pictures of}
the old buildings and the new buildings in contrast are shown, The
Quill will arrive from the publishers in several weeks and then everyone will be able to see it is a very
interesting and desirable book, both
to high school students and to the
town people. Miss Rector is the
Quill advisor and Reggie Kennedy is
the editor. Many hours of work hag
been put in gn the book and the result is going to ‘be one of very fine
