NEVADA CITY ISCRY AGAINST NOTE: Edward Berwick, for many years a member and ieader of the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco, one of the most outspoken opponents of war and one of the most cogent reasoners in support of peace and fairplay among nations, has addressed the following letter to the Nevada City Nugget. It behooves every -citizen to think carefully over this out‘look and make up his’ or her mind, now, whether under any conditions except physical invasion by an enémy, this country should participate in another war.
