CRANBERRY PATCH
Prospector Peter Johnson who
lives with the Cougnian famiiy of
North Columbia, has discovered on
a swampy piece ofsand belonging to
'the Coughlan family a pateh of fine
. berries that tasters have dcelared:to

. declines to reveal the growing place
of the berries but has showed proof
of its existence by bringing in ten
gallons of the allegedly real cran. berries to the Coughlan residence
. A sample of the berries was submit. ted to L. G. Lageson, who said they

got a start in the lonely pateh near
North Columbia is unknown. A sample: has also been sent to the State

GOOD SERVICE COSTS NO MORE
A modern establishment—a trained, intelligent and courteous
personnel—distinctive motor equipment and other evidences of
progress and prosperity are NOT an indication that funeral service
charges will be high. A successful concern can be built only by serving honestly and well, at prices that are fair and reasonable. -
