WOMANS CLUB MEETING TAKES IN NEW MEMBERS 4 Three new members were admitted at the meeting of the Womans’ Civic Improvement Club last week the Brand Studio, Mrs. W. C. Perry, Mrs. H. H. Buckner, and Miss Agnes O'Neil. Musical selections were rendered by Miss Minnie Brand and Mrs. Antha Locklin. An address was given by Mrs. F. P. Wray of Davis on American Citizenship, which was much enjoyed. The meetings will be held hereafter at the Brand Siudio. REV. BUCKNER PRESIDES AT NUPTIAL CEREMONY Rev. H. H. Buckner recently preided at a nuptial ceremony which united Albert Bilderback of Emizrant Gap and Miss Maxin Garvey of Stockton in marriage. The young couple will make their home at the Gap. BRIDGE TOURNAMENT FINISHES THIRD ROUND round of the bridge tournament given by the Elks last week resulted in Mrs. Celia Huy and Perey V. Carr carrying off the honors for the week. Mrs, Margaret Dickerman with a_ total score of 6548 leads for.the tournament with Mrs. W. E. Wright in second place. George R. Carter leads in the men’s division with 7000 points.
