LUMBER TALKS
The Man With The S. T. M.
Of course’ you have met him
When out for a walk;
But don’t try to stop him,
He’s no time to talk;
He’ll hurty along with a cool
nod, you'll find—.
The man with the shingle track
mind.
Of course you have seen him——
His tribe is increasing,
As signs of wet weather
Old Pluv is releasing;
Look up to the ridge-pole and
there you will find
The man with the shingle track
mind.
Oh, wild, pelting storms
He’s laying for you,
A stout, shingled roof
That no rain can seep thru;
Howl on as you will, quite untroukled you’ll find,
The man with the shingle track \
mind.
