tHRY Kart PB. Senhe : president of
ym . Acme Breweries, has been notified
‘of his election as a director of the
U.-S. Brewers Association which is a
national organization that devotes
¥}itself to the development of sound
fundamentals of the brewing industry. Schuster is the only Northern
California director.
Karl Schuster gives full credit to
mewspaper advertising for its help in
=. achieving Acme success, stating that
‘this company has never failed to use
newspaper advertising on an everexpanding scale since repeal.
It is felt that Schuster’s election
as director. is in the nature of a tribute paid to the important position
that Acme Breweries occupies in the
industry. Although its business is
restricted to the far west, its output
is the 19th largest in the nation, ac-.
cording to the Research Corporation
of America, an achievement never
before attained by any west coast
brewery.
