~ down and the GHIDOTTIS AND MOBLEYS LEAD BOWLING TOURNEY po Re Aaron Too much new pins, was the general complaint from — the bowling fraternity as the first week of the second tournament on the Elks alleys . rolled along. From the appearance of things the Ghidotti team looks to cop the bunting if it keeps up its present gait. The Mobleys got in two series for the week at it was only possible to rustle five teams for the fray, and won only as many points in the two as the Ghidottis did in one. The brand new pins raised havoe with the boys who don’t put the ball in the exact spot to mow them first night saw but few strikes made, Mobley is up to his old tricks in getting off to an early start and his week’s average puts him well out infront of the field although Fortier is leading him a close second. Dick Goyne by some good general shooting steps into third place while Southpaw Hoge holds down fourth. A quintuple or five in a row was pulled off by Mobley whieh ig the best string so far this year. Nickless climb inio the select class with a triple apieces Rollin Wright stepped_ into the lead in the doubles class with three of the double shoters, one each game.
