RED CROSS AIDS BANDON REFUGEE ' RANDON, Ore., Oct. 26.—J. W. Richardson, director of disaster relief for the American Red _ Cross, here today anounced that the Red Cross will immediately start an emergency housing program, replacing 80 tents now sheltering the Bandon fire refugees with temporary houses. These emergency houses will be small, but warm and comfortable, affording better shelter against the cold winds of winter. They will be erected as rapidly as possible and in such number as will meet the need of the distressed families. In the meantime the disaster relief workers will proceed with the rehabilitation work, making awards to families which will provide permanent rehabilitation when conditions permit. Other Bandon families, who have resources of their own, will be issued ‘temporary building permits by the Bandon municipal government and will proceed immediately with their own building plans. Just because you pay no income tax don’t think you don’t pay taxes. Your butcher, baker and scores of others in«business are collecting from you and handing over to the government. That’s called ‘“‘hidden taxation.”’ Justifying his record of extravyagant spending, the President asks: “Would you have us_ let. people starve?’ How about the Republican applicant for a WPA job? He must register as a Democrat or starve. Subscribe for The Nugget. DULL HEADACHES GONE, SIMPLE REMEDY DOES If Headaches caused by constipation are gone after one dose of Adlerika.
