CRASH TO FACE TRIAL

Sierra county charged H. S. Edmonson with negligent homicide Wed-. ~
nesday, the complaint having arisen
from an automobile accident of October 18 near the Nevada state line.
Formal arraignment will be fixed
November 3. He was remanded to
the county jail in default of ie 500
bail.
Edmonson drove ‘the car whic
collided with that of Pietro Lombardi and brought death to the latter’s young wife, Frances Lombardi.

proved most instructive.
A delightful surprise was the presentation of four boxes of delicious
apples from the Loma Rica Ranch
near Grass Valley. A vote of thanks
was given for the generous gift
which was greatly enjoyed by the visitors.
