He has been an employee of tHe state highways fo* years and lived here several years making man? friends. With his wife and sion he visited here this summer. The dances scheduled at the high school for the next few weeks have been postponed due to the fact that the floor in new gumnasium is going to be resurfaced. However, the next dances should prove interesting as the student body expects tio see the freshmen take the dance since so many have practiced as industriously under the guidance of Miss Petersen and Miss Baggley. There also may be a chance in the dance band as members of the high school initiate their newly organized band. GETTING READY FOR SPORTS The boys at the high school have been weighed and measured in preparation for this year’s coming basket ball teams. Fifteen have signed up for the A team and twenty for the B team.
