many pretty birthday gifts.
After the party Mrs. Rector presented each litfle guest with a little
gift in memory of the event. Mrs. W.

with favors of tiny dolls.
Betty Lou Krough
One of the happiest little social affairs given in some time, occurred
yesterday at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Brian Krough, when ‘they gave
a party in honor of the ninth birthday of their daughter, Betty Lou.
A pink color scheme was used
throughout the rooms and ‘on the
prettily decorated table where two
delicious birthday, cakes held the
place of honor. One cake was made
in honor of Mary Libby, a little playmate, whose birthday occurred on
Saturday. Beautiful pink fall flowers:
were used in profusion, a dainty
pink crepe table cloth and napkins,
rose bud candles, pink bon bons and
nine tiny pink candy baskets and
pink dishes cast a glow over the
happy gathering that will linger
long in their minds.
“The ‘children enjoyed playing a
number of games among them a
bean game that Catherine Davis won
first honors in-guessing the number,
while Mary Libby guessed low. In a
memory. game, Barbara Mitchell was
first with Betty Foote last.
Those present to enjoy the happy
afternoon were Catherine Davis, B.
Lou Krough, Elsie Schreiber, Madeline Bettles, Barbara Jean Mitchell,
Mary Libby, Levon Gates, of Nevada
City, Marie Clary of Grass Valley
North Bloomfield.
Little Miss Krougn received many
