SCHOOL TAX REDUCED
BY LOCAL TRUSTEES:
Tax payérs in the Nevada City
elementary and high school district
will pay 15 cents less taxes per
hundred than they did last year
which will be welcome news at this
time when the tax collectors «are
abroad in the land to recieve funds
for the administration of public affairs. This will make taxes lower
for people in Nevada City this year,
as the county rate was increased
but 2 cents to offset decreased
valuations.
