FRENCH CORRAL, Sept. 14,
(Special to TheNugget)— Well,
wasn’t it great!!—The San Juan .
Ridge Reunion Picnic We are still .
talking about it and yet have hardly come to a semicolon. An ideal
day, an ideal spot, an ideal company, and an ideal stew! It exceeded
all expectations. and we are so
pleased that we intend -to make
an annual or probably a semi-anuual event. Such. happiness it was to meet and greet old
friends and talk over the ‘‘old days’”’
One thing we overlooked, however,

names yet and place them in a

forty years. The house was burned
down several years ago. The stately
pine and oak trées surrounding the

have gone through the fire, and
has for at least fifteen years been
uncared for is there’ giving to the
breeze the fragrance of its pretty

hands that had planted-it

and maybe Mrs Rundy will: consent
to this later. They were so appropriate and certainly appreciated by
all Ridgites Well, we could go on

would take up all The Nugget space.
We must not forget to state that a
collection was taken up on the
grounds, to which all responded
generously, and the sum of $65.00

We regret to record the death of
George McHugh of Bridgeport. Mr.
McHugh was our neighbor for several years-.and we have only .the
kindest recollections of him. Altho
born in Boston his childhood ard
boyhood days were spent in Nevada
Citywhere 'he attended school. In
his early life he went to sea and
had travelled all around the world.
Ie, was very. interesting to hear him
relate incidents of his sea life and of
the countries he visited. So many
of our good people are answering
